Chicago Beer Geeks -Co-Founder (Dec 2010- Present)

• We tell the story of Chicago through beer by supporting local small business that produce well crafted, small batch artisanal beverages.

• 177 stories about the people, places and events that make Chicago such a special place to experience the craft beer movement.

• The only website to have a beer bottled and distributed statewide. Deception – An Ale Collaboration between Wild Onion Brewing Company and Chicago Beer Geeks.

• 2011 Nominee for CBS Channel 2 Most Valuable Blog In Chicago

Chicago Brew Bus -Tour Host/ Historian  (Dec 2012- Present)

•  3 hour craft beer adventure that allows guests to rediscover Chicago one glass at at time.  Tour visits 3 breweries in 3 hours every weekend.

• Curate the beer experience at each location. Highlight historic events and locations between each brewery stop.

• Lead  tour group on a facility tour, and explain the complete brewing process over all 3 phases -Brewing, Fermentation and Distribution

Baderbrau Brewing Company  – Social Media Manager  (April 2013 – Present)

• Develop content for social media outlets.

• Design unique events that promote the visibility of the brand and increase sales.

• Responsible for Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising strategies.

Festiv-Ale – Committee Member (August 2011 – Present)

• Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Illinois Fundraiser. Festiv-Ale is the largest craft beer fundraiser in the state of Illinois.

• Responsible for recruiting breweries, restaurateurs, and sponsors to participate in the event.

• Create partnerships with media local media outlets to promote ticket sales. This event has sold out the last 2 years.

Documentaries:

• The 10th Annual Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beers

• Iron Brew Competition: A homebrew competition in Bridgeport judged by 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, Two Brothers and Stone Brewing Co.

• Beyond The Brews: roundtable discussion about the transition from Homebrewing-To-Production Brewing. Featuring Spiteful Brewing, Ballast Point, Goose Island Cybourm and 5 Rabbit.

Events Series:

• The Bears Bash: A craft beer showcase series at local bars that promotes enjoying local beer during Chicago Bears Football.

• Beer Geeks Trivia: A partnership with Whole Foods that promotes beer culture monthly competition at 1550 Bar.

• Bombers & Fireworks: Spotlights the large format bottle size (bombers) during Fireworks night Wednesdays at Bistro By The Pier.
